5. The British Bulldogs
The duo of Davey Boy Smith & The Dynamite Kid had the perfect combination of strenght, speed, flexibility & technical wrestling skills, which is why most Old School Wrestling Fans remember them as one of the best Tag Teams in Wrestling History.
They started teaming in 1983 during their days in Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling Territory and went on to wrestle in Japan (NJPW & AJPW) before joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1985 where they made a huge name for themselves, before leaving the Promotion after WWF Survivor Series 1988.
They returned to Stampede Wrestling & All Japan Pro Wrestling, where they wrestled until 1990, when Dynamite Kid had to retire due to a severe back injury. Davey Boy then returned to the WWF on his own, wrestling under the name “The British Bulldog”.
