3. “Drew was pissed” – Heath Slater On WWE Putting Drew McIntyre In 3MB
During an interview with Pro Wrestling Junkies, former WWE wrestler Heath Slater discussed his run with 3MB in WWE.
We noted before that Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal weren’t originally supposed to be a part of the faction, but WWE just threw them in it.
Below is what Slater said about McIntyre and Mahal’s reaction upon hearing the decision WWE made for them.
“Jinder was more neutral, but Drew was pissed. He didn’t want anything to do with it. He’s always wanted to do the types of things that he’s doing now, but he came around, and gave it a try, and it ended up being two good years of entertainment.”
He also discussed the time he used to get beaten down by legends, and revealed that he would’ve loved to receive a Sweet Chin Music by Shawn Michaels and also an angle with Bret Hart.
