WWF Champion Kurt Angle
7. Finn Balor Returning & Going After The WWE Universal Title?

As we recently noted, former NXT Champion & the first ever WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor returned at NXT TV tapings and attacked NXT Champion Bobby Roode.

Balor then cut a promo that he’s not cleared to return to in-ring action yet, but will return soon and will go after what’s his – hinting at going after the WWE Universal Championship.

Balor is expected to work WWE Raw Live Events in March, where he’ll be a part of 6 man tag team matches. Balor is expected to be at WrestleMania 33, but no word is available as of now regarding his wrestling status at the Show of Shows.

Balor has been out of action since SummerSlam 2016 (where he became the inaugural WWE Universal Champion and suffered multiple injuries during the match as well).

Below is the list of injuries Balor suffered at SummerSlam last year:

– 180 Degree Labrum Tear

– Torn Bicep

– Torn Pectoral Tendon

– Cartilage Damage

– Fracture to the Glenoid Neck Socket
