5. Former World Champion Leaves WWE
During an appearance on Chael Sonnen’s podcast, former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger revealed that he’s no longer with WWE as he requested his release.
Below is the reason Swagger revealed for his departure:
“Basically, it came down to contract negotiations. We were way off. They didn’t value me at what I thought I was valued at.”
Swagger was seen changing brand last year (from Raw to SmackDown Live) and then lost a feud to “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin.
