3. A.P.A. – The Acolytes Protection Agency
If we’re talking about “protection” in Professional Wrestling, there is no way not to think about the A.P.A. right away.
First starting out as a team called ‘The Acolytes’, satanic followers of The Undertaker and members of the infamous Ministry faction, they would soon change their gimmick to 2 card playing, cigar smoking tough guy brawlers, who offered their protection to anyone who pays them for it.
Over the years many Wrestlers used that offer and brought the A.P.A. with them as their protection.
They broke up on SmackDown after Wrestlemania XX but have reunited various times since.
