On this day in Pro Wrestling history on June 22, 1996, ECW Extreme Championship Wrestling held their annual Hardcore Heaven event in the ECW Arena (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania).

While the upcoming Hardcore Heaven events 1997, 1998, 1999 & 2000 aired exclusively on PPV, this one was a regular live event supercard, that was taped and later released as official VHS Home Video (and years later on DVD).

• WWE’s Main Event Wrestlers Don’t Care About Their Feuds Because Of Their Relationships

There’s a very low level of fan interest for this Sunday’s WWE Stomping Grounds 2019 PPV and the low ticket sales for this event indicate the same.

Apart from the fact that most of the matches on this PPV are rematches, not many top WWE wrestlers care about their feuds right now.

Below is what Brad Shepard is reporting:

“The source noted Roman and Drew are very interested in putting on a memorable feud but everyone else seems to be lacking in the morale department right now. They said Becky Lynch/Seth Rollins and Charlotte/Andrade are too invested in their relationships right now to care.”
