• WWF Veteran Reportedly Leaving WWE To Go To AEW

According to the No Holds Barred podcast, there’s been talks going on regarding Old School WWF Veteran Goldust getting his release from WWE and then joining All Elite Wrestling to help out his brother, Cody Rhodes.

Goldust has shown appreciation for his brother’s work ever since Cody left WWE and he’s not the only Old Schooler who’s interested in working for AEW.

During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, ECW Legend Tommy Dreamer revealed that he wants to be a part of All Elite Wrestling and that he has also contacted Cody Rhodes & Matt Jackson (who are AEW Vice Presidents) about this.

Below is what Dreamer said:

“I have spoken to Matt and Cody about doing stuff there and I said, ‘Whenever you guys need me I’m happy to help. Nick and Matt helped House Of Hardcore in the early stages. I always saw them as main eventers.

If there are any two individuals…I had daughters, but if I had sons I would want them to be like The Young Bucks. They’re two great human beings, they really are.

Cody I’ve known him since he was a little kid. His father was my hero, his father was my friend. I’ll do anything for those guys cause I love them. If they want me there, I’m there. If there’s not a spot for me, trust me, I get it.

My own last show at House Of Hardcore you know who didn’t wrestle? Me, because there wasn’t a spot for me there. I hope that there is a place for me in AEW. I’d love to be a part of something successful and I have spoken to them. That’s it.”

Another Old Schooler that wants to join AEW is WWE Hall of Famer Road Warrior Animal.

During a recent edition of ‘What A Rush’ podcast, Road Warrior Animal expressed his interest in joining All Elite Wrestling.

Below is what Animal said:

“That’s another show that, Cody being a part of ALL IN, they asked me to be on in the spring. And I don’t know if that’s going to be with the NWA or that’s going to be with ELITE, but either way, I’ll be excited to do that show, too.

It’s great to see a company opening that’s going back to basics and doing what’s right in pro wrestling. Giving the fans what they expect to see, not having to do a big ceremonial, ‘We’ll give you what you want to see!’ and then do what we want to do anyway. This is really about what the fans need to see.

They got a great product and I think I’d help them enhance their product with my wrestling knowledge in the tag team industry especially, and I think I could be a good edition other than anything else.”
