9. Hulk Hogan vs. Roddy Piper – The War to Settle the Score
The main event at “The War to Settle the Score” featured Hulk Hogan defending the WWF Championship against Roddy Piper.
Hulk Hogan & Roddy Piper had one of the most heated rivalries in 1980s. This feud also involved Cyndi Lauper. Piper kicked Lauper in the head and attacked Captain Lou Albano. This lead to Piper facing Hogan in the main event at The War to Settle the Score, which was broadcasted on MTV.
Hogan won the match via disqualification when Paul Orndorff and Bob Orton interfered to save Piper. Mr.T and Cyndi Lauper entered the ring and they were attacked by Piper, Orton & Orndorff as well.
During the brawl, Piper kicked Lauper in the head.
