1. Roddy Piper defeats Hulk Hogan – WCW Starrcade 1996
Piper joined WCW in 1996 and went straight after his old rival, Hulk Hogan.
Hogan & Piper faced off in the main event of Starrcade in 1996 where Piper defeated Hogan with a sleeper hold. Piper’s rivalry with Hogan continued almost a decade later in WWE as well when he returned at WrestleMania 19 and attacked Hogan with a steel pipe.
Roddy Piper was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005, the same year Hulk Hogan went in the HOF as well.
