On April 1, 1990 at the WrestleMania VI PPV, WWF Champion Hulk Hogan had to defend his World Title in a ‘babyface vs babyface’ match against the challenger, the Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior, whos title was on the line aswell.
In what is one of the biggest and most iconic matches, not just in WrestleMania history, but Pro-Wrestling History, The Warrior managed to defeat The Hulkster after a 23 minute battle, to become the new WWF Champion and the first person in history to hold the WWF World Title and the WWF Intercontinental Title at the same time.
