• “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan vs. André The Giant •
In what’s by far the biggest and most important match in WrestleMania history, WWF Champion Hulk Hogan had to defend his World Title against the challenger André The Giant, who was billed as being undefeated for 15 years.
It was the main event of WrestleMania III on March 29, 1987 in front of a record crowd of 93,000 WWF Fans in the Pontiac Silverdome of Pontiac, Michigan.
At the end of a 12 minute match, Hulk Hogan defeated André the Giant, after bodyslamming the Giant to the mat, which is still considered THE single greatest WrestleMania moment of all time.
