5. Owen Hart v Edge – IYH: Breakdown 1998
Owen Hart and Edge managed to have a terrific opening match at Breakdown 1998, an event commonly remembered for the triple-threat WWF Championship match between Kane, Steve Austin and the Undertaker, in which Austin was screwed from his championship.
But before any of that could happen, the two Canadians battled it out in front of their home country in a great high-flying, agility based, hard-hitting exhibition match between the two. Within the next few months, Owen barely wrestled at all, and with this being his last real match for several months, it makes it all the more special.
Owen got the win after Gangrel and a debuting Christian distracted Edge.
