3. Steve Austin v Chris Jericho v Chris Benoit – King of the Ring 2001
Shane appears again on the list, however, he does the overshadowing! Kurt Angle v Shane McMahon at King of the Ring 2001 is one of the most spectacular, brutal and amazing matches of all time, and stays as one of my favorites.
The main event of this show included Steve Austin, Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit battling for the World Wrestling Federation Championship, in an absolutely killer match. Their timing was excellent, their moves were crisp and you can feel the tension as you wanted either Benoit or Jericho dethrone Austin as Champion.
Even though they were unable to get the job done (even with Booker T interfering on behalf of WCW) the match ended nicely with both Jericho and Benoit laid out, and Austin slowly slides into the ring and takes advantage of the damage they caused to themselves. Tremendous match.
