In the greatest opening bout in history, the two brothers battled it out for over twenty minutes in front of a sold-out Madison Square Garden crowd, witnessing one of the greatest WrestleMania’s of all time.
It was impressive display of quick moves and technical prowess that is still entertaining to this day. Owen ended up cleanly pinning his older brother Bret, who that night became a two-time World Wrestling Federation Champion.
