4. Burial of The Ascension
The Ascension was brought up to the main roster and everyone expected them to reach the top of the tag team division in no time.
Ascension defeated 6 time WWE tag team champions- New Age Outlaws, at the Royal Rumble PPV and it looked like their rise to the top is near. But that wasn’t the case. The Ascension soon became a jobber tag team, doing the job for the top tag teams.
They were hardly appearing on Raw & PPVs as they were featured on shows such as Main Event & Superstars.
Given the state of current WWE main roster tag team division, this was a very poor creative decision made by the WWE booking team.
