1. Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar – Crown Jewel 2018
Roman Reigns won his first ever Universal Championship by defeating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2018.
“The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman came out to cash in his Money In The Bank contract on the Universal Champion after the match, but he failed to do so after Lesnar beat him up while his match with Reigns was going on.
Lesnar was taken off TV, while Reigns and Strowman feuded for the Title. Strowman cashed-in his Money In The Bank contract at Hell In A Cell a month later to get a Universal Title match against The Big Dog. The match ended without a result, when Lesnar returned to take out both men in the end.
The Beast’s interruption led to the setup of a Triple Threat Match between the 3 men at the first ever Crown Jewel pay-per-view in October. However, the match was scrapped a couple of weeks later when Reigns announced that his Leukemia had returned.
Reigns relinquished the Universal Championship, leading to Strowman and Lesnar facing off for the vacant Title at Crown Jewel. Lesnar regained the Title in the end.
