Finn Balor Defeats Roman Reigns Clean On His First Night on Raw
Former NXT Champion Finn Balor faced off against “The Guy” Roman Reigns in the main event of Raw on his first night on the main roster.
Balor got dominated the whole match, but suddenly he picked up a clean victory in the end over Reigns and earned the opportunity to compete against Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2016.
This was unexpected as everyone thought Reigns had enough punishment after he lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship clean, got suspended for 30 days, got pinned in the WWE World Title match between the former Shield members at Battleground 2016, and that he was going to pick up the win and get back in the Title picture.
