• Ric Flair Planning To Return To The Ring For One Last Run?

According to 2-time WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T, the legendary Ric Flair (age 72) might be planning to wrestle again.

Here’s what the WCW Legend said about The Nature Boy on his Hall Of Fame podcast:

“Ric Flair is not the managerial type of guy. It’s just not his role. As well as, Ric Flair is not one of your guys that wants to be in the office, coming to work every day, wearing a suit and going into the office. That’s not Ric Flair.

Ric Flair’s a party guy. That’s just his nature. You saw him on Triller, he’s all about having some fun.

Now my thing is this, I talk to Ric Flair on a regular — usually on a regular occasion, I don’t know how often I’m going to see him now, but Ric Flair told me, he said, ‘Book, I’m never going to retire.’ He said, ‘If I could be in that ring right now, that’s where I’d be.’

So I think Ric Flair may be looking at one last run.”

Flair showed off his biceps yesterday:

Flair was recently granted his release from WWE. He wrote the following in his statement that he released after his WWE departure:

“We have a different vision for my future.”

• Old School ECW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School ECW Veteran Roadkill (Real name: Michael DePoli) celebrates his 45th birthday today.

Roadkill wrestled for Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling promotion from 1996 till its demise in 2001 and then went on the wrestle for the WWE in 2005 and from 2006 till 2008, mainly on ‘ECW on ScyFy’ as well for WWE’s developmental promotion’s OVW Ohio Valley Wrestling.

For most of his ECW run, he was put in a Tag Team with Danny Doring and together they became the ECW World Tag Team Champions on December 3, 2000, by defeating the Full Blooded Italians.

Still to this day, they are the last ever ECW Tag Team Champions, considering that – as opposed to the ECW World Title – the Tag Team Titles were not brought back for WWE’s 2006-2010 version of ECW (on ScyFy).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROADKILL!
