• WWE Furious Over The Miz Sharing Screen With AEW Stars
The American Gladiators reboot will feature a mix of talent from WWE, AEW, and the independent wrestling scene. The Miz is set to host the upcoming show, while Wardlow, Kamille, Eric Bugenhagen (formerly Rick Boogs), Jessie Godderz, and Jessica Roden (J-Rod) will take part as Gladiators, each receiving new names for their on-screen roles.
Behind the scenes, there’s already been some tension. While early reports mentioned issues with the crossover of wrestling talent, the Wrestling Observer has now clarified that it’s WWE—not AEW—that took issue with the arrangement. Specifically, WWE was reportedly unhappy about The Miz, a top WWE star, sharing a show with AEW names like Wardlow and Kamille.
Despite that, production is moving forward with a strong lineup that blends wrestling and entertainment, bringing fresh energy to the revived competition series.
• “Fake and G@y” – SmackDown Star On UFC
Since both WWE and UFC are under the TKO banner, both promotions cross promote events. WWE promoted the upcoming UFC 319 PPV, which will be headlined by Dricus du Plessis (c) vs. Khamzat Chimaev for the UFC Middleweight Championship. SmackDown wrestler Piper Niven wasn’t impressed by this and tweeted the following about UFC: “Fake and g@y.”

This led to a fan tweeting: “Let’s see how your ‘Wrestling’ would do up against Khamzat then.”
Piper replied “No thank you” and tweeted a GIF that read “I play real sports. Not trying to be the best at exercising.”

• Nick Khan Says Fans That Criticize WWE On Social Media Don’t Matter
During an interview on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast, WWE President Nick Khan explained the company’s creative process: “We encourage our creative team and writers like, don’t program for [fans that criticize the product on social media], program for the universe, not for a small portion of the universe who wants to criticize you. That doesn’t matter. Move on. Put on a good product. The money will be there. The fans will be there. The results will be there.”
Nick also said him and Triple H make mistakes every day, but they have each other’s back: “Triple H and I we make mistakes in business every day, the good thing is we have one-another. We can say, ‘hey, I think I did this, what do you think? I don’t think that was the move, maybe we can think of it the other way, let’s try that.’”
• WWE Wants To Bring Another AAA Star To The Main Roster
WWE may be eyeing one of Lucha Libre AAA’s biggest stars for a major move to its main roster. According to WrestleVotes, the company has “significant interest in making Psycho Clown a prominent part of the main roster.” The report also emphasized WWE’s belief in his marketability. “WWE is intrigued by his character and the marketing abilities attached to it,” they stated.
Psycho Clown has been a central figure in AAA for more than 10 years. He’s known for his colorful mask, high-energy performances, and strong crowd connection. He’s also part of wrestling royalty — the son of Brazo de Plata, famously known as Super Porky, and a member of the Alvarado wrestling family. As previously reported, WWE is also interested in bringing AAA star Mr. Iguana to the main roster.
• “You two did a lot for the women’s division” – Top RAW Star To Bella Twins
Nikki Bella’s recent return to Monday Night RAW included a slip-up when she mispronounced Stephanie Vaquer’s name—but the moment turned out to be more charming than awkward. Bella addressed the flub during a new episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, where she and Brie welcomed Vaquer as a guest. Nikki explained the mispronunciation came from nerves rather than a lack of respect. She said she was just trying to give it some style, but her nerves got the best of her in that moment. Despite the on-air moment becoming a talking point for fans, there’s clearly no hard feelings between them. Vaquer responded graciously and used the opportunity to show admiration for the Bella Twins and what they accomplished during their WWE careers.
“You two did a lot for the women’s division,” Vaquer said on the podcast. “So, for me, it’s important, and I appreciate you. Thank you! Now we can stay here, and for me it’s important to now do something for the next generation and the women’s division to go up more and more.”
• Goldberg Comments On Fans’ Reaction To Him Limping To The Ring On RAW
Goldberg returned on this week’s RAW and was limping to the ring. On The National Football Show, Goldberg said the following about this: “Everybody’s (like), ‘Oh, Goldberg’s limping to the ring. Goldberg’s small! Goldberg’s old!’ I am freaking old! What do you want me to do? Turn the clock back? Show me another 58-year-old dude that’s willing to go out and do this. I mean, there’s a couple. But I’m gonna hopefully surpass their performance. At the end of the day, I gotta surpass my performance in the past.”
Goldberg said he doesn’t care how old he looks. He just wants to put on a better performance than his last match, which was against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber 2022, where he couldn’t train properly because he had COVID a month before that bout.
“I ain’t freaking going out the way I went out (at Elimination Chamber 2022). Period. End of story. So at 58-years-old, if I have to go in there hobbled, if I have to go in there 30 pounds lighter, I don’t give a sh*t. Because I have a point to make and at 58-years-old, can I still make that point? I don’t know, but, I’m gonna do my best. 50 percent of me is better than 99 percent of the pricks on the planet, I believe, and so if I still give that effort and have the work ethic, though I’m not who I used to be but here I am. I mean, we don’t lose that. It’s a risk, it’s a huge risk.
Am I risking the legacy of Goldberg in the ring? Yeah. Every time you step in there, you risk that. But, it’s risk versus reward and it’s another opportunity to give Gage a platform to see his dad go out and do his thing. I mean, he’s the reason why I came out of retirement in the beginning. 15 years ago or whatever it was for the first time. I’m not doing it for me… I mean, I am partly but, I’m mainly doing it for him.
If they have to drag me out of there or carry me out of there, then that’s fine because I chose to do it and I chose to spend the last 6 months training and preparing for this.”

• Stephanie McMahon Says Vince McMahon Is His Own Biggest Nemesis
On the latest episode of “What’s Your Story?” podcast, Stephanie McMahon and WWE President Nick Khan discussed Vince McMahon. You can read their exchange below:
Stephanie: [Vince’s] mindset was, if he could survive, he won. So just surviving was winning and still is winning for him today. And I don’t know how you can ever beat someone at the end of the day if all they need to do is survive to win.
Nick: So all credit to him. I only have admiration for him. As Triple H said at his Hall of Fame speech, family’s complicated. And, you know, obviously, we don’t need to get into any of that. But in terms of business, that guy’s an empire builder.
Stephanie: Absolutely he is. And no one can take that away from him, no matter what, including himself, who is probably his biggest nemesis — is himself.
