1. Doomsday Device
For me no wrestling finisher will ever be as spectacular-looking or debilitating as the Road Warriors’ Doomsday Device. Animal would seat an opponent on his shoulders (impressive in and of itself) and Hawk would fly off the top rope with a guillotine-like clothesline.
To my knowledge no one ever took that move and kicked out of a pin attempt. This is the move by which all other tag team finishers will be judged. Later teams like The Dudley Boyz and the Briscoe Brothers have performed this move in homage to Hawk & Animal; a testament to its lasting appeal. The DD was and is the greatest finishing move of all time.
