2. Stone Cold Stunner
In terms of finishers that can stop a person in their tracks without warning, probably none is more effective than the Stone Cold Stunner. The move was brilliant in its simplicity. Steve Austin hooked an opponents head and fell to a seated position, both snapping the man’s neck and driving him chin-first into Austin’s shoulder.
Additionally the Stunner could be performed on an opponent of any size – always a hallmark of a great finisher. Variations of this move include the Diamond Cutter and the RKO, but Austin’s version will always be the superior one as far as I’m concerned.
