9. Bayley Turns Heel

2019 has been one hell of a year for Bayley. Just after losing her WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 35, she went on to win the Women’s Money In The Bank contract, which she cashed-in on the same night on Charlotte Flair to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
She lost the Title to Charlotte Flair at Hell In A Cell, only to win it back a few days later.
Although she was on SmackDown, she also started working on RAW once her best friend Sasha Banks returned to the brand. Her attitude slowly changed when working alongside Banks.
After a couple of weeks, she finally reached her breaking point to beat down Becky Lynch with a chair to prove her loyalty to Sasha Banks.
It was quite a shocking moment for many fans since Bayley was always seen as an organic babyface by the fans.
8. NXT’s Invasion Of The Main Roster

Since the brand split in 2016, Survivor Series was all about the brand warfare between RAW and SmackDown. The repeated storylines every year just made the fans lose interest in one of the biggest pay-per-view events of the year.
2019 was a game-changing year for Survivor Series. WWE announced that NXT would also be a part of the brand war this year, which boosted a lot of fans’ interest in the event.
The build-up towards the event was spectacular and it gave the yellow brand a lot of exposure. What was more surprising was that NXT won the brand war at Survivor Series by winning the most matches.
