3. Roman Reigns Returns
After months of struggle, “The Big Dog” finally defeated Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2018. He was having a great run with the Title with his Shield brothers by his side.
However, Reigns’ career as a wrestler almost ended after his feud with Braun Strowman. The Big Dog found out that his leukemia had returned which completely shaked the core of WWE. He relinquished his Title and was out of action for a while.
While it was expected that Reigns would be out of action for years or even for his entire lifetime, The Big Dog defeated cancer and returned to the WWE on the road to WrestleMania 35 in what was one of the biggest moments of 2019.
