Dolph Ziggler won the Intercontinental Championship on RAW a few weeks back by pinning Seth Rollins.
This came as a shock to wrestling fans as they weren’t expecting Rollins to drop the Title to someone like Ziggler, who WWE officials aren’t so keen on puhsing and was seen more of a sidekick to Drew McIntyre.
One of the reasons behind this Title win is that Ziggler’s WWE contract is set to expire later this summer and this is a way to have Ziggler re-sign, by giving him a good little push on WWE’s flagship show – Monday Night RAW.
Now in this article, we’ll be booking Ziggler’s Road to WrestleMania 35.

Current Feud With Seth Rollins
Ziggler defended his Intercontinental Championship against Rollins in a rematch on RAW and the match ended in a DQ when McIntyre interfered.
Now Ziggler and Rollins are expected to have a rematch for the Title at Extreme Rules 2018 PPV.
Note: This article was written before the ’30 minute Iron Man match’ between these two men was announced for Extreme Rules 2018. So we haven’t considered that stipulation in this article.
Now we’ll book Ziggler to retain the IC Title in this match after a cheap shot from McIntyre and Ziggler capitalizing on it to get the win. This keeps Rollins protected as well.
After successfully defending his Title at Extreme Rules 2018, Ziggler talks about how he’s done with Rollins and that Rollins should get in the back of the line and make his way to the top to earn an IC Title shot again.
At this point, Rollins realizes the main reason why he’s not the Intercontinental Champion anymore – Drew McIntyre.
So Rollins now enters into a feud with McIntyre and the Ziggler -Rollins chapter is over.
Next Challenger For Ziggler’s Intercontinental Title
To determine the new #1 contender for Ziggler’s IC Title, a #1 contender’s 15 man Battle Royal is held on RAW, with the winner facing Ziggler for the Title at SummerSlam 2018.
Elias wins this Battle Royal and becomes the #1 contender for the IC Title once again.
