2. Shane is Hardcore! – SummerSlam 2000
SummerSlam 2000 seemed to have a lot of extreme moments. Second on this list is another incredibly unbelievable physical performance, this time performed by Shane McMahon.
On the Raw before SummerSlam 2000, Shane McMahon defeated Steve Blackman for the WWF Hardcore Championship thanks to the help of Edge, Christian, Test and Albert. Blackman immediately requested his rematch and during this match, proceeded to eliminate Test and Albert from interfering in the championship bout. During this match, Shane used his cat-like quickness to rush to the top of the Titantron, something only seen once before (During Road Warrior Hawk’s suicide angle). Shane then took three kendo stick shots to the back before freefalling to the stage floor, 60 feet below.
At the time it was an absolute shock and was on Foley’s level of athleticism and a stylish perfect fall. Since, Shane has done three more of these, somewhat watering it down. However, due to the amazing visual it created, the way he put Blackman over, the way nothing had ever been seen like this before and the fact that Shane is awesome makes this moment second on the list.
