Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart defended his championship against British Bulldog in the main-event of SummerSlam 1992 in front of 80,000 people in a jam-packed Wembly Stadium in Bulldog’s hometown of London. That sentence already explains how amazing the moment would have been. The Intercontinental Championship had never closed a PPV before, and neither had Bret or Bulldog in a one-on-one match with other people. With the highest attended SummerSlam in history cheering for both men, the crowd erupted as Bulldog emerged victorious as the new Intercontinental Champion, valiantly winning it in front of his people.
