This has probably been the weakest OLD SCHOOL WrestleMania of all Time (several Modern Day Era WrestleManias have been way worse though, for example WrestleMania 27) and the main reason for that, was that non of the matches on the card had storyline feuds that the fans could get emotionally invested in.
Neither The Undertaker nor Bret Hitman Hart had worthy Opponents at this PPV, to have a good match with. Don’t get me wrong, both King Kong Buny & Bob Backlund were great Heels at this point in time, just neither Storyline was considered a Draw.
