This Dream Match was never about to happen, because Andrè The Giant had his last televised WWF match before The Undertaker even debuted. His last WWF match? Right! Not his last ever Professional Wrestling Match though, because Andrè has wrestled until early December of 1992, only a month before he passed away.
Andrè has only competed in Japan & Mexico during his 2 final years (1991 & 1992) tho, for the most part either in 6 Men Tag Team matches or in Tag Team Matches, so he didn’t have to do much in the actual match and his partners had to do most of the work. The only time when both, The Undertaker & Andrè The Giant were still on the WWF Roster during a WrestleMania, was in 1991 during WrestleMania 7, but unfortunately Andrè was wearing crutches at this point in time, because of an injury.
The Undertaker vs. Andrè The Giant … would have been a better match than the Giant Gonzalez one at WrestleMania 9, that’s for sure!!
