Keep in mind that not only did The Undertaker use his American Badass Biker Gimmick at the time WrestleMania 18 came along, he has also worked as a Heel, who demanded “Respect” from his opponents. So many great ways to book the eventual storyline for a Heel Undertaker vs. Babyface Steve Austin match, and they would have turned it into gold, i guess that’s pretty safe to say!
Just with that match on the WrestleMania 18 card, the actual Main Event Triple H vs. Chris Jericho would have been buried even further, than it already was, and the Icon vs. Icon (Rock vs. Hogan) match wouldn’t have been the only major Blockbuster match up that night.
With The Undertaker working as a Heel, we would have probably seen a Cheat-Finish here, where Taker had used a dirty trick to beat Stone Cold.
