Did you know that this match was already booked in the early stages for WrestleMania XI in 1995? Razor went to Vince and requested a Heel Turn, in order to be able to feud against his Kliq Buddies. The Heel Turn was nixed though and so was the planned Razor Ramon vs. Undertaker match at WrestleMania.
And seriously, do you think it would have been a good idea to have The Undertaker chase the Intercontinental Championship, with Razor Ramon being the Champion at the time of the PPV? WrestleMania 9 would have probably been the place to do it, when Razor was still an arrogant Heel and had only been in the World Wrestling Federation for less than a year.
Him squashing a babyface Bob Backlund in less than 4 minutes, didn’t get him anywhere … now imagine how awesome a Razor Ramon vs. The Undertaker match could have been, especially that day in the open air arena of Cesars Palace.
