“Who’s Next?” The Undertaker … what a great storyline would have been possible here with these great Superstars, if booked the right way. Obviously in order for it to happen, the Storylines in the months prior to the PPV would have had to be entirely different with the directions both characters were going on the weekly WWE TV Shows Raw & Smackdown.
Despite the strict 2002-2011 Roster-Split, Crossover Storylines were a common thing back in 2004, so that wouldn’t have been a problem. Arguably the Clashing of the 2 single greatest ‘Streaks’ in Professional Wrestling History.
Could it still happen now? Well if WWE pays Goldberg what he’s asking for, this match could very well happen at WrestleMania 32 … and the Stadium would be full, with 100,000+ fans on their feet!
