On this day in 2005, World Wrestling Entertainment aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWE Monday Night RAW’.
This episode was broadcasted from the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘Unforgiven 2005’ PPV.

• Triple H Says WWE Will Not Fire Velveteen Dream, Congratulates Damian Priest (Photo)
During tonight’s post-NXT TakeOver XXX conference call, Triple H addressed the hashtag “#FireVelveteenDream” on Twitter, where fans want WWE to release Velveteen after he was accused of being a child predator.
Triple H once again noted that WWE didn’t find anything in this case when they investigated, and Velveteen is going to stay in the company, and that he won’t comment on this matter again and WWE has moved on from this.
Speaking of Triple H, he congratulated the new NXT North American Champion, Damian Priest, on Twitter:
