Nitro’s week two win further puts the WWF on the defense.
The WWF sent a letter to Scott Hall contending his WCW character is violating WWF trademarks.
On Raw, Vince McMahon acknowledged WCW’s angle by saying “Razor Ramon and Diesel” are no longer associated with the WWF, trying to put a damper on what WCW initially portrayed as a “WCW vs. WWF” war, with the WWF being portrayed as the bad guys.
McMahon’s comment does give away for the most part that Hall’s surprise on next week’s Nitro will be Diesel, which will probably help Nitro’s ratings at least next week.
