Bret Hart gave an indications during his WCW live website interview last week that he would not entirely rule out returning to the WWF. That was the first time he gave an indication that he was open to that option. He said he has two years left on his WCW contract and said (contrary to various other reports) that they are his options, not WCW’s. He said he doesn’t have much to say to booker Kevin Nash and that he doesn’t believe rumors that he will be matched against Goldberg anytime soon because. He reasoned that so many big pushes have been promised to him, but none has actually come true.
In his Mar. 20 Calgary Sun column he wrote that he received an interesting e-mail from a fan of his. The letter read: “I shared a few beers with Kevin Nash at a nightclub in New York a few weeks ago when I was there on vacation. We talked. I told him I was from Canada and he mentioned you, Mr. Hart. I asked him if he was going to use his booking power to get you a shot at the title. He laughed drunkenly and said, ‘Hell no, ol’ Bret is too old and broken down… You will never see Bret Hart as WCW Champion.’ He sounded serious. Just to let you know.”
